About Our Organization
Our Mission: Roseville Crime Stoppers is dedicated to preventing and solving crimes through community involvement, public education and the nurturing of positive relationships with public safety organizations to continually improve the quality of life in our community.
The Roseville Community Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization run by the citizens of Roseville. Our Board of Directors is comprised of community leaders and businesspeople who donate their time and knowledge in order to work together with the Roseville community and the Roseville Police Department in order to make our community a safer place to live and work.
The Roseville Community Crime Stoppers is proud to have been in existence for nearly 30 years!
In 2019, the Roseville Community Crime Stoppers was proud to:
- Implement our new completely anonymous tip reporting software. Those who would like to report a tip can now do so by calling our tip hotline, clicking the link on our website, or downloading the app to their phone. The Crime Stoppers completely fund this tip line, with tips going directly to the Roseville Police Department for necessary action. To learn more about how this program works, please go to the Report a Tip page.
- Provide a scholarship to a worthy local student who plans to go into the public safety field.
- Put on our Annual Run Crime Out of Roseville which raises funds for our programs and allows our community to come together in a safe way while participating in a healthy activity.
- Assist with the purchase of equipment for the Roseville Police Department
- Provide rewards and thank you’s to several community members who have made a difference in our City.
Our goals for 2020 include:
- Continue the sponsorship of the anonymous tip hotline and P3 software to aid the Roseville Police Department in investigations and crime prevention and provide rewards to those who aid with these tips.
- Bring awareness of the anonymous tip program to our community.
- Assist in the formation of positive working relationships between our community organizations and businesses with the Crime Stoppers and the Roseville Police Department.
- Collaborate with our community and safety personnel to develop educational programs.
- Provide another sponsorship to a local student. To apply, speak to your high school counselor for the procedure.
- Present our Annual Run Crime Out of Roseville on July 4th
- Assist our Police Department with any special requests
